When it comes to Critical Thinking, too often people are “CRITICISM” thinkers in the sense that they criticize (complain about) everything little thing.
– The weather.
– The coffee.
– The price tag.
– The lack of parking.
Instead, critical thinking should be more about “critical issues” (i.e. “most important” issues). When someone is in “CRITICAL” condition, it’s urgent, important and ultimate and they are given the best care and attention available.
+ How we spend our time, talents and treasures.
+ How loved and appreciated we make others feel.
+ How short life is, and how much we make of it.
May our minds and thoughts be focused more on those urgent, ultimate and most important things rather than the petty, silly, useless things we are prone to complain about and criticize.
